Momma has a Secret

I was talking to a friend the other day about how different churches recognize Mothers Day.

He told me about a church he and his wife were at where on Mothers Day they recognized different categories of Moms. The oldest Mom, the youngest Mom, Mom with the most kids, etc.

So, when they first asked for the mother with the most children to raise her hand, one lady in the back did and they gave her a gift.

They asked for the oldest mother to raise her hand, she did and then they gave her a gift.

Then they asked for the youngest mother to raise her hand. A woman sitting next to her husband and no children anywhere near them slowly raised her hand. The air was sucked out of the sanctuary. She recently found out that she was pregnant and felt obligated to raise her hand.

Her mother seated a row or two behind her started flipping out. The whole service changed right then. No one remembered what the pastor said, or even if she was given the Mothers Day gift. Everyone though remembers that pregnancy announcement.

Momma’s everywhere, thanks for all you do. You deserve a day.

In honor of Mothers Day I want to relay some Motherhood secrets from Melissa at yourmomhasablog.com

These are great! Enjoy, she did a great job writing this.
